The cutting knives have an exchangeable cutting unit with double cutters. When worn to a certain level, the insert is simply turned to present the new cutter. Finally, the insert is scrapped and a new one fitted. Changing from one cutter to another is quick and easy.
This system eliminates the cost of grinding and allows inexpensive inserts to be used rather than buying complete tools.
Inserts for cutting knives are always kept in stock for quick delivery. Star point and Diamond point are standard and also available in a two-wire version. We Supply 40 degrees angle as standard, but other angles can be supplied on request.
